FORSK!2010 conference

UNIK FFP was also involved in FORSK!2010, which was organized by young scientists at the Faculty of Health Sciences.

UNIK management represented the research areas of "Food, Fitness & Pharma" at the event by presenting the possibility of taking a pre-graduate research year at one of our research projects in the field of lifestyle diseases. Furthermore, Associate Professor Bente Stallknecht, MD and Ph.D. student Pernille Landrock Auerbach from the FINE project joined us at the conference to tell the future pre-graduate research year students about the benefits of this kind of collaboration.

Finally post doc Signe S Torekov presented her field of research in the group of Jens Juul Holst, including gut hormones and their effect on appetite and insulin secretion.
