UNIK scientist Gertrud Pfister receives EU Grant

Gertrud Pfister form UNIK - FFP has received 264 000 Euro for the project "Gender, football, and trans/national identities".

The project goes beyond the state-of-the-art in providing new knowledge about identification processes of women in European fan cultures dominated by men. The project will be conducted in the context of a collaborative research project funded by EU's Seventh Framework Program (FP7) with the topic "FREE. Football Research in an Enlarged Europe: Identity dynamics, perception patterns and cultural change in Europe's most prominent form of popular culture."
